- Draws optimised power
- Also suitable for DAS applications and booster amps
The QPA9421 is a high-linearity two-stage power amplifier from Qorvo with on-chip bias control and temperature control circuits, that makes it suitable for small cell base station applications.
The device provides 30 dB gain and +27 dBm linear power over 2.11 – 2.17 GHz frequency range. It can achieve −50 dBc adjacent channel leakage ratio (ACLR) at +27 dBm output power using 20 MHz LTE signal.
The amplifier draws an optimised 420 mA from a 4.5 volt supply. It also supports femtocells, customer premises equipment and data cards and functions as a linear driver in DAS applications, booster amps and repeaters without needing digital pre-distortion.
The QPA9421 comes in a compact system design and requires very few external components for operation. The QPA9421 is available in a 7 x 7 mm surface-mount package from the RF electronics distribution company, RFMW.
