The RX310-2 allows one or two TwinRX daughtercards to be installed in the chassis. TwinRX is a dual-channel super-heterodyne receiver. It offers a wide dynamic range and accurate phase synchronization. It supports local oscillator (LO) sharing that is used for spectrum monitoring and finding directions.
Uses NI hardware architecture
This new hardware features dimensions of 302mm x 400mm x 98mm. It runs on NI hardware architecture. It combines two extended bandwidth daughterboard slots covering baseband bandwidth of up to 120 MHz. The device features multiple high-speed interface options (PCIe, Dual 1/10 GigE). Additionally, it provides large user-programmable Kintex-7 FPGA for easy integration and programming.
Comes is a waterproof enclosure
A GPS disciplined oscillator is optional with the module. The UBX is a full-duplex wideband transceiver that covers frequencies from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. Pixus has installed the motherboard and daughterboard configurations into a rugged weatherproof enclosure. This enclosure features IP67 sealing for water and dust resistivity. The conduction-cooled chassis is also optionally designed for MIL-STD-810. It features resistance to shock or vibration. It also fulfils the MIL-STD-461 standard and provides resistance to EMI interferences.
Offers various customisation options
The I/O panel for the RX310 is modular. It allows various customisation options to be employed. The RX310 series can be used in various types of airborne, shipboard, ground vehicle, or outdoor designs. Example applications include SIG-INT, spectrum monitoring, passive RADAR, smart agriculture, smart energy, and prototyping systems for advanced wireless standards.
