Embedded Computing Module Powered By Intel 8th Gen Core Processors


The versatile board, also powered by Celeron processors helps in providing high-speed connectivity for industrial automation and medical applications


The embedded computing industrial leader, AAEON, has launched the COM-WHUC6 COM Express module for automation and mobile medical device applications. The COM-WHUC6 has a compact type 6 form factor (for easy installation, replacement and upgradation) and is powered by Intel’s 8th Generation i7/i5/13 and Celeron ULT series processors. These provide efficient energy performance for a range of industrial and embedded applications.

Enhanced processing with high connectivity

COM-WHUC6 has several key features for ensuring flexibility, ease of maintenance and optimized processing capabilities. It comes with two DDR4 slots and up to 64GB of on-board eMMC storage. The module’s USB 3.2 Gen 2 provides high-speed connectivity and support for VGA, eDP/LVDS and DDI. The COM-WHUC6 also supports expansion for two SATA III devices and five PCIe devices.


It has an operating temperature range from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius.

Wide application support

Backed by AAEON’s manufacturer and OEM/ODM services, the COM-WHUC6 can be easily configured to a range of options such as WiTAS 2 compliance, carrier boards, custom I/O and PCIe support configurations and more. It also supports applications that require multi-module configurations.

Available in 95mm x 95mm dimension, the COM-WHUC6 can be obtained as COM-WHUC6-A10-0001 (powered by Intel Core i7-8665UE) or COM- WHUC6-A10-0003 (powered by Intel Core i3-8145UE).
