Improved Characteristics at Lower-Costs For 1-Watt DC-DC Converter

Comes with enhanced features including an integrated short-circuit protection, higher I/O isolation and extended temperature range

TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TBA 1 series of 1-watt DC/DC converters. This style of DC/DC converter is widely used to provide isolation between low-power circuits and has long been the most common type of converter. The TBA 1 series provide enhanced performance characteristics enabling engineers to achieve design improvements while taking advantage of reduced costs.

The TBA 1 improves isolation from the standard 1,000VDC up to 1,500 VDC. It provides an improved reliability of upto 2 million hours (per MIL-HDBK-217F at +25°C, ground benign). All models comply with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 / 60950-1 safety standards and are supported by TRACO POWER’s 3-year warranty. It comes in the industry standard SIP-4 package measuring 0.46 x 0.24 x 0.38″

Key Features

  • Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C
  • Efficiency of upto 82%
  • 3.3 / 5 / 12 / 24 V inputs with ±10% input range
  • Single outputs of 3.3 / 5.1 / 12 / 15 VDC
