Rolec launches new IP65 industrial HMI/panel enclosures for modern machine control
With the rise in the demand for durable electronics, IP (Ingress Protection) ratings are commonly found in electronics such as enclosures, connectors, power supplies and more. The goal is to protect electrical and electronic components against intrusion from foreign bodies such as dirt and water.
Rolec is meeting the demand of robust industrial enclosures with a new range of IP65 HMI/panel enclosures for off-the-shelf and custom-sized displays and touchscreens. The units are suitable for modern machine control applications across a wide range of industries. They can accommodate a front plate or a glass panel for touch applications.
Advanced IP65 enclosures for modern machine control
Commercially available built-in display panels can be flush-fitted directly into the front. The company also offers individual HMI/panel enclosures, all manufactured from extruded aluminum profiles and corner pieces for a high-quality finish. Five front installation options are available, including touch panels.
The enclosures can be made to measure from 150-800 mm for B&R, Beckhoff, CRE Rösler and Siemens displays or in bespoke sizes up to 800 x 800 mm.
Options include three different door designs: a flush rear wall (fully bolted or hinged) to create a 70 mm deep housing; a 15 mm deep framed door with lock and internal hinges (total depth 85 mm) and a 60 mm deep framed door with lock and internal hinges (total depth 130 mm).
Internal mountings can be fitted in the door. The company also offers finished front plates which can be drilled, stamped, engraved or printed and a black (RAL 9005) plastic (POM) handle with a stainless steel inlay which can be laser-engraved.
