BAW Filter For LTE Offers Excellent Wi-Fi Rejection


RFMW unveiled a high-performance Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) Tx/Rx filter specifically designed to meet the high performance expectations of insertion loss and rejection for LTE transmit systems under all operating conditions.

Qorvo’s QPQ1291 is a highly selective, low drift, BAW filter for full Band 41 TDD-LTE Tx/Rx. The filter offers excellent WiFi rejection of 39dB at WiFI channel 11, yet only 3.8dB in-band insertion loss, claims the company.

Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +85 degrees Celsius. The return loss of the device is 9dB. RoHS compliant, the device uses common module packaging techniques to achieve the industry standard 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.73 mm footprint.
