Secured Device Communication In An IoT Network

Amiho, in association with Lapis, has recently launched a compact Wireless M-Bus radio module specifically designed to connect smartmeters and other Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices which need to communicate to a local hub or gateway.

Referring to the press release, “The AM060 radio module operates at the Wireless Meter-Bus standard of 868 MHz, with a low power draw, compact footprint (17.8mm x 20.2mm), and built in data flash. The module also features advanced encryption standard (AES 256) that addresses the growing concern for security in IoT network.”

According to the press release, the ML7345 radio incorporated allows a versatile frequency selection, which means it can be used in a variety of applications and regions where Wireless Meter-Bus and other sub-1GHz ISM bands have been adopted.
