STMicroelectronics and iFLYTEK have unleashed a new platform that offers voice recognition cloud services in Chinese to foster the development of voice-enabled Smart-Home, Smart-Driving, IoT, and robotics applications. The platform combines ST’s SensorTile multi-sensor module with iFLYTEK’s voice-recognition technology.
The SensorTile module captures voice inputs through the digital MEMS microphone (MP34DT04) and transmits them using the Bluetooth Low Energy network processor (BlueNRG-MS) to iFLYTEK’s cloud through a smartphone with the voice-recognition result back within seconds.
The new platform is a complete toolset for the development of voice-enabled applications by combining ST’s SensorTile multi-sensor module, STM32 ODE (Open Development Environment), and Open.software package with iFLYTEK’s voice-recognition technology.
