RFMW announced a transmission line transformer designed for applications that require very small, low cost, and highly reliable surface mount components, and where low loss and noise figure (NF) concerns are critical. Applications may be found in broadband, wireless and other communications systems.
The MiniRF MRFXF0024 is capable of supporting DOCSIS3.1 requirements, features a 1:1 impedance ratio, and covers frequencies from 45 to 1200MHz. Characteristic impedance is 75 ohms and insertion loss ranges from 0.4dB for return path applications to 0.6dB for downstream circuits. Further, the transformer has excellent amplitude and phase balance and capable of handling a maximum 2 watts RF input.
The transformer is built Lead-Free and RoHS compliant, and offered in an industry standard S-20 package. It also features a welded wire construction for increased reliability. Full data and S-parameters are available.
